Technology Services

The Austin Convention Center ranks among the most technologically advanced convention centers in the country.

Plugging into the Center is a snap. With over 680,000 feet of Category 6 Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) wiring, getting connected to the web anywhere within the Center is as simple as plugging and playing. As a minimum, the Center has a 100mb/sec ethernet connection to the web that runs 24 by 7. On-site network administrators are here to design, install & support your networking needs. A full backbone with single & multi mode fiber optics, bundled UTP and Coax trunk lines makes passing any state of the art signal possible to any leasable space. Utility floor boxes populate exhibit halls every 30 feet, supplying a source of power, air, water, and communications.

Austin Convention Center's technological capabilities can make the show more of a hands-on experience. Instead of just walking around looking at exhibits, attendees will look, touch, hear, feel and do things on the exhibit floor and throughout the building. Staging conferences, seminars and other events at the Center can propel your organization into the future - today.
