Austin Convention Center hosts Episcopal General Convention, ILA Conference, and more in July 2018

LEED® Gold-certified facility expects to draw over 18,000 people through its doors.

July is heating up at the Austin Convention Center! From conferences to sporting events to conventions, many different events are sure to keep the Austin Convention Center in full swing.

From July 5 through July 13, the Episcopal Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society will host the 79th General Convention of the Episcopal Church. Go to www.generalconvention.org for more details. In addition, the Education Service Center, Region 2 will host the 2018 Title III Symposium on July 25 and July 26 (www.esc2.net).

The International Literary Association (ILA) will host the ILA 2018 Conference and Exhibits from July 20 through July 23. Go to www.literacyworldwide.org for more information.

A look ahead to August reveals seven different events scheduled at the Austin Convention Center.

Nearly ten million people have attended 3,500+ events, including over 900 conventions, at the LEED® Gold-certified Austin Convention Center since it opened in 1992.
