April 2023 Events at the Austin Convention Center Include Texas Bridal Wedding Expo, TLA Annual Conference, Consensus by CoinDesk

AUSTIN, Texas – Six events are scheduled at the Austin Convention Center for April 2023, including Academic Internal Medicine Week, the Texas Bridal Wedding Expo, the NKF Spring Clinical Meetings, the AISD Teacher Career Fair, the Texas Library Association Annual Conference and Consensus by CoinDesk.

Academic Internal Medicine Week (AIMW23), is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from April 2-5. Hosted by the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, the conference is for faculty and staff in departments of internal medicine at medical schools and teaching hospitals. Programming includes sessions and topics for seasoned professionals, mid-careerists, and professional development for physicians and leaders in new roles.

On April 2, the Texas Bridal & Wedding Expo is scheduled to be held at the Austin Convention Center from 12:30 – 5 p.m. The expo is for wedding planners and couples looking for marital and wedding services. The latest in gowns, formal wear, DJs, photographers, reception venues, and honeymoon destination demos are all on schedule.

NFK (National Kidney Foundation) is hosting its 2023 Spring Clinical Meetings at the Austin Convention Center from April 11-15. This is an educational event designed for interprofessional kidney health teams. The meetings are for renal health care providers, nephrologists in the private and academic field, pharmacists, physicians, dietitians, and transplant coordinators in kidney care.

The Austin AISD Teacher Career Fair is scheduled for April 15 at the Austin Convention Center. The in-person networking event is for teachers and principals to connect with the Austin Independent School District to explore career and pre-hire possibilities along with certification information.

The Texas Library Association’s 2023 TLA Annual Conference is scheduled to be held at the Austin Convention Center from April 19-22. The conference unites libraries and library workers who have a common purpose to provide knowledge, information, and services. Programs, education sessions, exhibits, and keynote presenters focus on enhancing librarianship throughout Texas.

Consensus 2023 by CoinDesk is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from April 26-28. It is one of the largest and longest-running gatherings of groups that make up the crypto and Web3 community. Listed as CoinDesk’s flagship event, it brings together developers, investors, founders, brands, policymakers, and more to Austin for onstage conversations, private workshops, and to publish the findings.
