August 2024 Lineup at Austin Convention Center: Hot Tub and Swim Spa, Tattoo Fest, EPA Workshop, KW Mega Agent Camp, Energy OutWest, and CBRE Expo

AUSTIN, Texas – August 2024 is set to provide an exciting lineup at the Austin Convention Center, featuring seven notable events. Highlights include the Hot Tub and Swim Spa Blowout Expo, Tattoo Fest, EPA Regional 6 CMOM Workshop, Keller Williams Mega Agent Camp, Energy OutWest conference, and the CBRE Meeting and Hospitality Expo. Additionally, there will be four private events, ensuring a bustling and dynamic atmosphere throughout the month.

The Hot Tub & Swim Spa Blowout Expo is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Aug. 2-4. The three-day event, one of the largest in the region, will showcase over 40 hot tubs, swim spas, and saunas for sale. The expo not only showcases hot tubs and swim spas but also provides information on the health benefits of these products, such as stress relief, muscle pain alleviation, and low-impact exercise opportunities.

The Austin Tattoo Festival will be held at the Austin Convention Center from Aug. 2-4. This festival features over 200 artists from around the globe, offering three days of tattooing, art creation, merchandise, and supplies. There are several tattoo contests during the event, and attendees will have the chance to get tattooed by both traveling and local artists, with many artists available for walk-up customers.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will hold the 2024 EPA Regional 6 CMOM Workshop at the Austin Convention Center from Aug. 5-6. The purpose of the 21st annual workshop is to allow the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and EPA to discuss examples of strong Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance (CMOM) for water waste systems. Attendees include municipalities, special districts, operators, engineers, consultants, and manufacturers in the wastewater industry.

Keller Williams is hosting its 2024 Mega Agent Camp at the Austin Convention Center from Aug. 12-15. The Mega Agent Camp (MAC), for KW agents only, takes an agent-centric approach to real estate fundamentals, experience, education, training, and networking within the Keller Williams company and culture.

The Energy OutWest 2024 conference, which is already sold out, is scheduled to be held at the Austin Convention Center from Aug. 19-20. Hosted by Energy OutWest, a group dedicated to improving weatherization programs in 15 states, this regional conference features the latest technical and organizational advances in the weatherization profession.

The 16th Annual CBRE & Hospitality Expo is set to take place on Aug. 22 at the Austin Convention Center. Hosted by the Austin Hotel & Lodging Association, this event caters to hotel industry professionals, including owners, operators, financial institutions, developers, and investors. It offers consulting, research, valuation, and other market services tailored to the hospitality sector.

Four private events are scheduled at the Austin Convention Center in August. Groups organizing member-exclusive gatherings, non-public events, or invitation-only affairs can choose to showcase their events on the Austin Convention Center and Palmer Event Centers’ websites and calendars. Additionally, they can request that the host’s identity and other event details remain confidential.
