Austin Convention Center hosts TCEA Convention, Austin RV Expo, AAAS 2018 and more in February 2018

January 31, 2018The dog days of winter are here but spring is on the horizon! The Austin Convention Center (ACC) is hitting the ground running in February with eight events scheduled!
The Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) will hold their 2018 TCEA Annual Convention and Exposition from February 5 through February 9; go to www.tceaconvention.org for more information. In addition, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) will host their 2018 AAAS Annual Meeting from February 15 through February 19 (www.meetings.aaas.org); and the National Demolition Association will hold their 2018 NDA Annual Convention and Expo from February 22 through February 24 (www.demolitionassociation.com/convention).
One consumer show is a part of the February schedule – the 2018 TRVA Austin RV Expo will run from February 15 through February 18 (www.austinrvexpo.com).
Rounding out the ACC’s February schedule are the Teacher Retirement System of Texas’ 2018 TRS/ERS Conference on February 2 (www.trs.texas.gov); the National Telecommunications Cooperative Association’s NTCA event from February 25 through February 28 (www.ntca.org); Capital Metro’s Downtown Station Open House on February 21 (www.capmetro.org); and the 2018 Friends of Boy Scouting Luncheon on February 27 (www.bsacac.org).
A look ahead to March isn’t complete without SXSW! The Austin Convention Center is gearing up for the 2018 edition of the world-famous festival along with several other events next month.
Nearly ten million people have attended 5,000+ events, including over 900 conventions, at the LEED® Gold-certified Austin Convention Center since it opened in 1992.
