December Events at Austin Convention Center: Defense Manufacturing, SACSCOC Annual Meeting, and National Athletic Directors Conference

AUSTIN, Texas – December is shaping up to be a dynamic month at the Austin Convention Center with four diverse and innovative industry events. This includes the Defense Manufacturing Conference, the SACSCOC Annual Meeting, the Austin Hotel and Lodging Association Gala, and the National Athletic Directors Conference & Exhibit Show.

The Defense Manufacturing Conference (DMC) 2024 will be held at the Austin Convention Center from Dec. 2-5. The event brings together leaders and experts from the defense manufacturing sector, including engineers, government policymakers, academics, scientists, and technology implementers. Participants collaborate at this event on advancing innovative technologies and strategies that enhance the nation’s defense capabilities.

The Southern Association of Colleges and School Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) will hold its 2024 Annual Meeting at the Austin Convention Center from Dec. 7 -10. Excited about hosting its first annual meeting in Austin, significant attendees include Chancellors, Provosts, Deans, Faculty, and Administrators who are involved in institutional accreditation and compliance in higher education. SACSCOC accredits 11 Southern institutions that award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral degrees.

The Austin Hotel and Lodging Association Gala is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center on Dec. 12.

The 55th National Athletic Directors Conference & Exhibit Show is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Dec. 13-17. Backed by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), the conference offers educational in-service programming tailored for interscholastic athletic administrators. The event will feature insightful speakers and experienced athletic administrators sharing their academic and athletic expertise. Additionally, the exhibit show will host over 300 exhibitors, showcasing the latest products and services for athletic programs.
