January Events at Austin Convention Center Include Dino & Dragon Stroll, Home + Garden Show, Kickoff Sales, USCC, and TASA Midwinter Conferences
AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Convention Center is hosting five scheduled events in January 2022. The events hosted at the Austin Convention Center include the Dino & Dragon Stroll, Austin Home + Garden Show, National Kickoff Sales Conference, USCC Conference and Trade Show, and the TASA Midwinter Conference on Education.
The Dino & Dragon Stroll, a walk-thru where guests can get up close to life-size animatronic dinosaurs and dragons, is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Jan. 8-9. The stroll allows for the encounter of colossal-sized dinosaurs ranging from babies to the huge Brachiosaurus, Mamenchisaurus, and Spinososauraus. Sound technology and advanced animatronics bring to life the 28-foot tall and 60-foot long T-Rex and a gigantic Apatosaurus that is 24 feet tall and 65 feet long. Themed rides, story time, the Dino Band, and realistic dinosaur babies can be found throughout the stroll.
From Jan. 14-16 the Austin Home + Garden Show is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center. The three-day event is organized as a marketplace to shop for home-related products and services. The show is offering inspirational home project displays and informative presentations from industry experts and renowned local and international professionals.
Insight Global, a staffing services company, is scheduled to host the 2022 National Kickoff Sales Conference at the Austin Convention Center on Jan. 21.
From Jan. 24-27 the US Composting Council (USCC) is scheduled to host the Conference and Trade Show - Compost 2022 at the Austin Convention Center. The conference offers programming and meetings for composting and organics recycling professionals. The tradeshow and conference include exhibits, sponsors, and equipment demonstrations for the composting and wood recycling industries.
The Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) is holding the 2022 TASA Midwinter Conference on education at the Austin Convention Center from Jan. 30 – Feb. 2. The TASA Midwinter Conference is for Texas school leaders to discuss and share practices, to network and address administrative issues school administrators face every day.
The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
