January Events at Austin Convention Center: Junior and Collegiate Volleyball, TASA Midwinter, and SXSW Volunteer Call
AUSTIN, Texas – January 2025 kicks off a busy season at the Austin Convention Center with a robust lineup of events, including junior and collegiate volleyball tournaments, the TASA Midwinter Conference, and the SXSW Volunteer Call.
The 2025 Tour of Texas Warm Up, hosted by Austin Junior Volleyball, takes place Jan. 4-5, at the Austin Convention Center. This event features competition across 12-18 Girls’ age clubs and open divisions.
From Jan. 17-19, Austin Junior Volleyball will host three major events at the Austin Convention Center including the 2025 Lone Star Classic 18s National Qualifier for girls, the Southwest Boys Classic and National Championship Qualifier (12s-18s), and the First Point Collegiate Challenge, which showcases NCAA men’s volleyball teams. Match-ups for the Collegiate Challenge include head-to-head matches between No. 1 UCLA, No. 4 Penn State, No. 5 Ohio State, and No. 9 Stanford.
The 2025 TASA Midwinter Conference on Education, hosted by the Texas Association of School Administrators, runs Jan. 25-29 at the Austin Convention Center. This premier event attracts Texas school leaders, superintendents, curriculum specialists, administrators, and principals for engaging sessions and exhibits.
On Sunday, Jan. 26, SXSW will host its Volunteer Call for the 2025 festival.
