June Events at Austin Convention Center Include 2021 Dentistry Conference, Cornhole Tournament
AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Convention Center is pleased to announce the hosting of three in-person events for June 2021. The events include the Academy of General Dentistry conference and the American Cornhole League (ACL) National Shootout Tournament.
The 2021 Academy of General Dentistry conference will be held from June 9 – 12 at the Austin Convention Center. The four-day conference is estimated to draw 2,000 attendees and participants and is touted as one of the premier meetings for general dentistry and dental continuing education.
From June 25-27, an American Cornhole League National Shootout Tournament will be held at the Austin Convention Center. Nearly 1,000 attendees and participants are estimated to attend the three-day event that includes an ACL Pro Shootout along with an ACL Open event with ACL Rounders, Singles and Doubles.
The 2021 Civil Service Exam for City of Austin Fire Specialists will be held on June 29, for an estimated 300 attendees.
The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department, a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD) continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. For June 2021, the social distancing requirement is three feet. Beginning in July 2021 and beyond, there will be no social distancing obligations.
Although ACCD recommends wearing a mask during your visit to our facility, face coverings are optional for attendees, staff, and clients, and enforcement is now the responsibility of the client. Health screenings and temperature checks upon entry are not required but are available as optional services per client request.
