November Events at Austin Convention Center: Texas Bridal & Wedding Expo, Build Show Live, HBCU Basketball Classic, Connected Claims, and The Running Event
AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Convention Center is buzzing this November, hosting six events to keep the energy high. It all kicks off with the Texas Bridal and Wedding Expo, followed by City-Wide Public Information Training, Build Show Live, the AAUL 2024 HBCU Basketball Classic, Connected Claims, and ending with The Running Event.
The Texas Bridal and Wedding Expo will be held at the Austin Convention Center on Nov. 3, from 12:30 – 5 p.m. This event serves wedding professionals, planners, and engaged couples, offering to showcase the latest in bridal gowns, formalwear, reception venues, décor, culinary tastings, party supplies, honeymoon ideas, DJs, and photographers.
The City-Wide Public Information Training is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center on Nov. 6.
Build Show Live is set at the Austin Convention Center for Nov. 7-9. This three-day conference and exhibition highlights top manufacturers, innovative products, and tools for the residential construction and building science industry. Alongside an expo, attendees can expect in-depth construction education sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and expert-led workshops focused on advanced techniques for building improvement.
The Austin Area Urban League will host the AAUL 2024 HBCU Basketball Classic from Nov. 8-9 at the Austin Convention Center. The event features four NAIA men’s college games, one women’s game, a College and Career Fair, and a Youth Basketball Clinic. Competing teams include Huston-Tillotson University, Jarvis Christian University, Paul Quinn College, Wiley College, Philander Smith University, and 2023 NAIA National Runner-Up, Langston University (Okla.)
Reuters Events: Connected Claims USA 2024 will take place at the Austin Convention Center from Nov. 12-13, bringing together claims professionals, executives, and operators from top insurers. Attendees will gain insights into emerging industry trends, technologies, and strategies. Expert-led sessions and panels will cover advancements in automation, customer experience, and AI-driven processes, helping industry leaders stay at the forefront of claims innovation.
The Running Event from Nov. 19-23, rounds out the November schedule at the Austin Convention Center. This three-day running and outdoor specialty trade show offers more than 20 educational sessions and features hundreds of exhibiting brands. The event draws industry management professionals, race directors, and retailers interested in the latest advancements in footwear, apparel, gear, and related services.
