October Brings Association of Legal Administrators, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and IAEE Sessions to Austin Convention Center
AUSTIN, Texas – The Austin Convention Center is hosting three scheduled events in October 2021. The events include the 2021 Association of Legal Administrators Annual Conference and Expo, the 2021 Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meetings, and the IAEE Central Texas Chapter Education Session.
From Oct. 3-6, the 2021 Association of Legal Administrators Annual Conference and Expo is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center. The organization is celebrating 50 years as a professional association that connects leaders and managers in the legal industry. The four-day ALA conference includes programming, presentations, interactive discussions, professional development, and industry connections.
The 2021 Congress of Neurological Surgeons Annual Meeting is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Oct. 16-20. Considered one of the leading forums for learning cutting-edge procedures, approaches, and technologies in the field, the 100-plus CNS educational sessions offer attendees the opportunity to participate and engage speakers who are experts at evaluating scientific content. The CNS Annual Meeting also provides continuing education for practicing neurosurgeons, residents in training, and for advanced practice providers such as nurses, physicians assistants, and clinical specialists.
On Oct. 21, 2021, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) Central Texas Chapter Education Session is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center. The Central Texas Chapter of IAEE serves cities between Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi is part of the trade association established to promote the growth and expansion of the exhibition industry. This includes professionals who organize, conduct, and support trade shows, exhibitions, meetings, and events at large public venues.
The Austin Convention Center and Palmer Events Center are operated by the Austin Convention Center Department (ACCD), a division of the City of Austin. The Austin Convention Center Department continues to adhere to all City of Austin, Travis County, State of Texas, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations.
The City of Austin has issued a mask mandate ordinance (effective Aug. 12, 2021). Masks are to be worn regardless of vaccination status in or on City property, and on property the City owns, manages, or controls. This includes the Austin Convention Center and the Palmer Events Center. Health screenings and temperature checks upon entry are not required but are available as optional services per client request.
