Upcoming September Events at Austin Convention Center: ASCM, Confluent, Visit Austin, Healthcare Facilities, Move America, Portfolio Day, and Home Show
AUSTIN, Texas – September 2024 is shaping up to be a busy month at the Austin Convention Center, with seven standout events on the calendar. Events include ASCM Connect, Confluent Current, Visit Austin Annual Meeting, Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, Move America, National Portfolio Day, and the Austin Home Show.
ASCM Connect 2024 is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Sept. 9-11. Hosted by the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), the three-day conference with over 100 education sessions, promotes the latest advancements and trends in end-to-end supply chain management and professionals.
Confluent Current 2024 will be held at the Austin Convention Center from September 17-18. This two-day event brings together experts, tech leaders, industry giants, and startups to explore advancements in data streaming and innovation, with a focus on generative AI and open-source platforms. The event includes over 100 sessions covering fundamental data topics and advanced cases used in finance, healthcare, and retail.
The Visit Austin Annual Meeting will be held on Sept. 18, at the Austin Convention Center. As an event for the city’s tourism and hospitality industry, this annual meeting brings together stakeholders from across the sector, including hoteliers, restaurateurs, event planners, and local government officials, to discuss the state of tourism in Austin and plans, while also recognizing the contributions of local businesses and organizations that have contributed to the city’s tourism success.
The Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo will take place at the Austin Convention Center from September 24-26. The two-and-a-half-day conference schedule gathers healthcare professionals, including architects, engineers, and facility managers, to explore the latest trends and innovations in the field. Educational sessions, exhibits, and workshops will cover topics such as safety, patient experiences, patient-centered design, sustainable building practices, and the integration of new technologies, medical equipment, and building materials.
Move America 2024 is scheduled at the Austin Convention Center from Sept. 24-26. The tech mobility event promotes the development of sustainable urban transportation, offering innovation and new thinking in mobility, new business models, connecting investors and start-ups, and showcasing new and under-represented transport modes. Content themes include electric, autonomous vehicles, fleet and commercial, bus and public transit, smart cities, infrastructure, connectivity, and cybersecurity.
A National Portfolio Day - Austin event will take place at the Austin Convention Center on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free event offers undergraduate artists the opportunity to meet with counselors, admissions teams, and faculty from art and design schools for a portfolio review before applying to colleges or universities.
The Austin Home Show will be held at the Austin Convention Center from Sept. 28-29. This two-day event aims to inspire and connect homeowners with professionals for both minor and major renovations. Attendees can explore a diverse array of products and services, including general contractors for kitchens, bathrooms, home offices, living space expansions, exterior replacements, landscaping, and energy-efficient accessories.
